About Megan

I am a University of Texas graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Pre-Medicine certificate currently working as an office manager and Emergency Medical Technician. I would love to use the extra time I have to help other students with their academics. 

Academics have always held a very high importance in my life. As a child, I always had my nose stuck in a book, and as a student I found that not much has changed since then! I took numerous AP courses at Ronald Reagan High School and graduated in the top 3% of my class. At the University of Texas, my course load was primarily science and math-based, and I graduated with multiple university honors.

Tutoring is something I choose to do because it allows me to share my love for academics and help other students achieve their goals! I have experience tutoring students of all ages for over 8 years, including tutoring professionally for the University of Texas at the Sanger Learning Center.

    $45/hr - online via Zoom

    $55/hr - in person (limited based on location)

Subjects available include english, economics, pre-calculus, calculus AB & BC, statistics, algebra I & II, geometry, chemistry, physics (algebra & calculus based), genetics and biology.

    $55/hr - online via Zoom

    $65/hr - in person (limited based on location)

  • I am able to provide an in-depth review of concepts in many subject areas to help fill in the gaps from previous courses or prepare for upcoming classes. Subjects available include english, economics, pre-calculus, calculus AB & BC, statistics, algebra I & II, geometry, chemistry, physics (algebra & calculus based), genetics and biology.

    ** + $10/hr for advanced courses including AP and honors classes

  • Before taking any standardized examination, it is incredibly helpful to perform a wholistic review of material to ensure a score indicative of one's true abilities. I can aid in preparing students for the SAT using your workbooks or free online resources along with my own knowledge and experience.

    $55/hr - online via Zoom

  • Applying for higher education is an important yet challenging endeavor. I am able to provide assistance with this process in the form of brainstorming consultations, grammar edits, and content feedback.

    Brainstorming Consultation: Includes 45 minute session for talking through goals, after which I provide suggestions on how to structure ideas.

    • Standard essay (up to 700 words): $70

    • Short answer (up to 350 words): $50

    Content & Grammar Feedback: Take your rough draft to the finish line with my suggestions for where to expand, rearrange, or provide more examples. Also includes in-depth grammatical editing for spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.

    • Standard essay (up to 700 words): $65

    • Short answer (up to 350 words): $45
